## Source: amazon-inspector (20b5dcef9a8613b9de1b3bbd1137a65cdbf087a9a96543602fb3372d7eca978f) On require() of this package, index.js loads./_loader.js which reconstructs C2 hostnames via array-join string concealment (oob-worker.cf99-9b3.workers.dev, oob-worker.cf101-adf.workers.dev, oob-worker.cf100-416.workers.dev), with a DNS TXT-record payload channel fallback under *.dl.wel1.ru whose sequenced records are base64-decoded and concatenated. The loader fetches a platform-specific executable, writes it to /tmp or Windows Temp under a disguised name (.cache_<hex> or dotnet_diag_<hex>.exe), chmods 0755, and spawns it detached via /bin/sh -c or cmd.exe with unref(). A secondary duplicate path in lib/telemetry.js (re-exported by the main entry) uses concatenated identifier strings ('child_'+'process', 'chmod'+'Sync') to evade static scanners, base64-decodes chunks into an executable, chmods 755, and spawns via /bin/sh under an 'analytics-sdk' cover story. The package name mimics an internal corporate scope (sme-rko-finance-front-payments-currency-payment-domain) while being published unscoped and public on npm with a generic 'API client wrappers' description and empty author field, matching the shape of a dependency-confusion lure targeting a specific organization's private package name. Installing or importing this package results in full-host native code execution on the installer's machine from attacker-controlled infrastructure.
